 FLEET OF ANGELS IS A NETWORKING SERVICE ONLY AND MAKES NO CLAIMS REGARDING THE ADVISIBILITY OF CONTRACTING WITH ANY OTHER PARTY, COMPANY, OR SERVICE FOUND THROUGH OR AFFILICATED WITH THE FLEET OF ANGELS DATA BASE, CURRRENT LISTINGS, OR SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES.  FLEET OF ANGELS ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY IN ANY MISSION OR FOR AGREEMENTS MADE BETWEEN PARTIES.  ALL PARTIES ARE EXPECTED TO SEEK REFERENCES, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND OTHER APPLICABLE INFORMATION TO DETERMINE THE SUITABILITY OF ANY PERSON, COMPANY, OR ORGANIZATION LOCATED THROUGH THE FLEET OF ANGELS NETWORK, ADMINISTRATORS, VOLUNTEERS, OR IN PRINTED OR EXPRESSED INFORMATION. 

 

THE CORE MISSION OF FLEET OF ANGELS IS TO PROVIDE LOWER COST TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER SERVICES FOR AT-RISK EQUINES TO MAKE RESCUE AND ADOPTION OF THOSE EQUINES POSSIBLE FOR MORE PEOPLE, IN ORDER TO SAVE THE LIVES OF MORE AT-RISK EQUINES.  BY REGISTERING WITH FLEET OF ANGELS, TRANSPORTER/SERVICE PROVIDER AGREES TO QUOTE RATES LOWER THAN THEIR NORMAL RETAIL RATES, AND  FURTHER ARE ASKED TO QUOTE THE LOWEST RATES POSSIBLE. REPEATED REPORTS FROM RESCUERS REGARDING CONCERNS OF OVER-CHARGING MAY RESULT IN MEMBER BEING REMOVED FROM FLEET OF ANGELS DIRECTORY AND OTHER PUBLIC LISTINGS.  MEMBERS WHO PARTICIPATE IN EVACUATING EQUINES FROM NATURAL DISASTER EMERGENCIES DO SO AS VOLUNTEERS, AND MAY NOT BE PAID FOR SOME SERVICES.  

 

TRANSPORTERS FOR FLEET OF ANGELS ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO REQUIRE A WRITTEN AGREEMENT- SIGNED BY BOTH TRANSPORTER AND RESCUER, OUTLINING THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN TRANSPORT ANGEL AND EQUINE RESCUER. DOCUMENT SHOULD INCLUDE DATE OF PICK-UP, DATE OF DELIVERY, TOTAL COST, DEPOSIT AMOUNT REQUIRED AND TERMS OF DEPOSIT, TRANSPORTER'S DRIVERS LICENSE NUMBER, TRUCK AND TRAILER LICENSE NUMBERS, VEHICLE INSURANCE INFORMATION, DOT NUMBER IF APPROPRIATE, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND ANY DETAILS REGARDING POLICY FOR CARE OF ANIMAL WHILE IN CUSTORY OF TRANSPORTER.  NO FUNDS- INNCLUDING DEPOSIT, SHOULD CHANGE HANDS UNTIL A WRITTEN AND SIGNED AGREEMENT WITH TERMS AD TRIP SCHEDULE IS IN PLACE.

 

LAYOVER LOCATION PROVIDERS SHOULD REQUIRE A WRITTEN DOCUMENT- SIGNED BY BOTH PROVIDER AND EQUINE RESCUER, STATING ALL PERTINENT INFORMATION, INCLUDING NAMES AND ADDRESSES OF BOTH PARTIES, DATES OF SERVICE, RATES,  DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATIONS, FEEDING/WATERING TERMS, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND ANY OTHER NEEDED DETAILS.  LAYOVER HOSTS ARE ADVISED TO HOUSE UN-QUARANTINED HORSES FROM KILL PENS, AUCTIONS, AND FEED LOTS AT AN APPRORIATE DISTANCE FROM OTHER HORSES ON THE PROPERTY, AND TO DISINFECT THE AREA THOROUGHLY WHEN THE HORSE LEAVES THE PROPERTY.
